When HoMedics® first contacted Logic Solutions, they were facing a challenge: their massage chair moble app wasn’t delivering the seamless experience they envisioned. It was intended to enhance relaxation, but users found it difficult to use.
Logic took a fresh, collaborative approach. By working closely with HoMedics’ teams, Logic created not one, but two brand-new customer apps that reflected the true essence of relaxation. Additionally, we built an internal app to streamline operations for HoMedics employees. The outcome? An elevated experience for customers and greater operational efficiency for the company.

Collaborative Innovation with Logic Solutions
The Massage Chair App for Customers
Logic Solutions worked hand-in-hand with HoMedics’ product, IT, and marketing teams to build a state-of-the-art massage chair app. By integrating Bluetooth connectivity with the chair’s hard-wired remote, we ensured users could effortlessly control functions like heat, massage type, and intensity.
We went a step further, introducing a customization feature that allowed users to create their own personalized massage programs. Picture this: start with gentle heat, transition to a neck massage, then follow with a relaxing shoulder massage. Logic also incorporated ambient sound options like white noise and ocean waves, providing an immersive relaxation experience.
Building on this success, we expanded the app’s functionality to integrate other HoMedics products, including foot massagers. Our collaboration even extended to developing a separate app that connects air purifiers and fans through WiFi and Bluetooth, offering customers convenient control of their home environment. Plus, this app has the versatility to not only control these devices in the home but also to control them remotely. For example, a user can turn on their air purifier when they leave their office miles from their home, so that it is running when they arrive at their residence.
The Internal App for HoMedics
To optimize quality control operations, Logic Solutions developed an Android-based mobile app for HoMedics inspectors. Upon arrival at a HoMedics fulfillment center, shipments undergo rigorous inspections. The app provides inspectors with comprehensive purchase order details, specifying product quantities and inspection requirements.
With real-time data and clear defect thresholds, inspectors can quickly assess product quality. Photos of inspected items and detailed reports are easily uploaded through the app. Supervisors then make informed decisions on whether shipments proceed or return to the manufacturer. Currently, 30 to 50 inspectors rely on the app to review approximately 50,000 products, ensuring HoMedics maintains its high-quality standards.
Logic continues to support and manage the internal app, providing updates and resolving any issues to ensure ongoing efficiency.

The rejuvenated massage chair app delighted customers with enhanced personalization and relaxation. The smart home control app empowered users to manage their comfort effortlessly.
