Logic's Q2 Tech Event 2026 Showcases the Future of AI Avatar Conversations
Logic Solutions brought together tech leaders and innovators for its Q2 Tech Event 2026, an evening dedicated to one of the most rapidly evolving frontiers in artificial intelligence: AI avatars built for live, dynamic conversation.
Hosted at Logic’s Ann Arbor Innovation Center, the event featured presentations from four speakers spanning business strategy, technical development, applied learning, and an unexpected but powerful intersection of technology and human experience.

The Business Case for AI Avatars
Jimmy Hsiao, CEO of Logic Solutions, opened by taking the room back in time. First to 1995 and the Netscape IPO, then to 2007 and the launch of the first iPhone. Each moment marked a revolution that Logic was there to serve, building web and mobile applications as those technologies reshaped industries. His point was clear: we are in another moment like that now. AI is not a trend to watch, it is a shift to move on. And Logic, once again, is already in motion.
From Concept to Implementation
Bou-Yu Chen, Director of AI at Logic Solutions, gave attendees an inside look at how AI avatars are actually built. Walking through the development process from initial concept to full deployment, Bou-Yu’s presentation stood out for its technical depth and clarity, and met with great response by attendees.
Bou-Yu also developed the software behind Logic’s photo booth station, one of the most popular experiences of the night, which drew a steady crowd throughout the event.
AI Avatars and the Future of Learning
Bill Michels, CCO of LavenirAI, shared the latest advancements coming out of LavenirAI and made a compelling case for how conversational AI avatars are changing the way people learn. His presentation highlighted how personalized, real-time interaction accelerates knowledge retention in ways traditional formats cannot.
Technology Meets Human Experience
Perhaps the most unexpected example of AI application came from Ahmad El-Bkaily, Co-founder of Liminal Touch. He shared how his company is using technology to address grief, one of the most deeply human experiences there is. It was a reminder that applications of AI can come in the most unexpected places and can indeed enrich the human experience.
Key Takeaways
AI avatars are ready for business — the question is no longer if, but how fast organizations adopt them.
The build matters — understanding how these systems are constructed helps leaders make smarter decisions about implementation.
AI in learning is accelerating — conversational avatars are changing how knowledge is delivered and retained.
An Evening of Innovation and Connection
Beyond the presentations, guests experienced Logic’s AI Avatar showcase stations firsthand, engaging with the technology in real time and seeing its conversational capabilities up close.
“Events like this aren’t just about technology. They’re about connection and vision,” said Jimmy Hsiao. “Our clients are embracing the possibilities of AI. We feel honored to collaborate with them to build the future together.”
The Q2 Tech Event was another step in Logic’s ongoing mission to bridge innovation and real-world business application. Stay tuned for what’s next.
