Q3 Tech Event 2026
Tuesday, Sept 29, 2026 · 4:00–6:00 PM
Logic Innovation Center, Ann Arbor
Four leaders on how far they've pushed their technology, and what it took.
Event Description
Technology rarely moves in leaps. It moves when someone spends years pushing on a hard problem, then pushes a little further.
This quarter, four leaders from three industries show us how far they’ve gotten. Soundskrit shrank an entire microphone array onto a single chip. Exabeam built AI that surfaces the threats analysts would otherwise miss. Applied Fitness Solutions turned a twenty-year fitness business into a care team with measured health outcomes.
Sound, security, and health don’t usually share a stage. Come hear what it took.
Speakers
Dr. Wan-Thai Hsu
Chief Technology Officer, Soundskrit
Wan-Thai turns advanced research into real products. He brings 30 years in MEMS and sensor technologies, 25 years in frequency control and timing, and more than 30 US patents. His honors include the 2007 EE Times & EDN ACE Innovator of the Year Award and the 2015 IEEE Frequency Control Society C.B. Sawyer Award.
